Ensure school T&Cs are accepted
New Feature
Studentnet is releasing a new feature enhancement available for school's to incorporate into their login sequence. The T&Cs feature allows schools to ensure that appropriate T&Cs have been accepted by their community members as a part of their login sequence.
Customisable
The T&C feature is customisable such that different T&Cs can be defined for different portions of your school community. This means that the T&C that applies to parents of senior students could be different to those that apply to junior students. Or the T&Cs for students may relate to uniform policy or discipline policy or sporting policies - again different portion of your community and different T&Cs.
Logged & Auditable
Acceptance(or rejection) of T&Cs is logged for every account holder. The log is not modifiable by IT staff and the wording of the T&C is fixed once published. This means that the acceptance of the T&C is auditable in the future ensuring it becomes a reliable reference point.
User Convenience
The presentation of the T&C is incorporated into the normal login sequence for account holders. It is a part of their login process without any need to link to other sites or content to conclude their acceptance.
Plus once an account holder has accepted the T&C, their acceptance is recorded and they no longer are required to accept that T&C again.
Future Growth
School administration has the flexibility to update their T&Cs with a new version that will require re-acceptance by the respective community affected.
OU level Granularity
The T&C that applies to your community members, or even if acceptance is required, can be defined down to the OU level of granularity in your Studentnet user list.
